• Chimney Calculations Made Easy with ChimneyMaster

    ChimneyMaster’s innovative interface allows users to make calculations for chimneys quickly and easily. Users provide the program with some basic information about their chimney setup—the design of the chimney and the devices to which the chimney will be connected, the connection parts and the chimney flue, and equipment such as the chimney cap, conical caps, and the fan to be used at the chimney opening—and then ChimneyMaster carries out all the necessary calculations, step by step, according to the EN-13384 standard.

  • ChimneyMaster is fully compatible with both the EN-13384-1 standard for single-device chimney systems and the EN-13384-2 standard for systems where multiple devices are connected to a chimney (Cascade, Joint Connection Chimneys). After users enter the basic information required by the EN-13384 standard and the dimensions and diameters required for the chimney calculations, they can check the accuracy of the chimney design and review the result of the calculations in summary form by clicking on the chimney calculation button. If there is a mismatch detected in the chimney calculations, one can easily go back and change and recalculate the necessary chimney measurements.

  • ChimneyMaster makes life easier in a number of ways. First, it saves certain information, such as the company information necessary for the chimney calculation reports, for future use in all your chimney calculations, so you don’t have to re-enter the same information again and again. Second, it displays a schematic of the chimney design on the right side of your drawing screen, as well as in the final chimney calculation report, to simplify the process of making informed decisions about the chimney system. With this schematic view, you can easily see how the final chimney will look, including, for instance, whether the chimney post is inside the chimney shaft, inside or outside the building, or composed of one or more sections. Finally, it speeds the process of chimney calculations by allowing you to add and copy devices and chimneys right on the drawing screen.
